mic live stream app for iPhone and iPad
Developer: Simonas Armonas
First release : 05 Jan 2013
App size: 6.81 Mb
this application turns your iPhone or iPad into wireless microphone!
We updated our app. So now your iOS device can live-stream voice to connected speakers or headphones instantly!
We kept old functionality. You can choose if you want to stream (use app as real microphone) or record and play.
Select AirPlay device (AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, Apple TV, etc.)
Press the mic button to start
Speak
Press the mic button to stop
Thats it! Your voice will be sounding from sound system connected to your AirPlay device. It even works with car sound systems, when connected via bluetooth.
Alternatively you can plug your sound systems jack straight into your iPhone or iPad and use the app without the AirPlay device.
The app has two modes (live-stream and record-play).
Use switch for that.
When live-stream switch is on, after pressing main button, you will be live streaming your voice to connected speakers.
When live-stream switch is off, after pressing main button, your voice will be recorded. Tap button again, and recorded audio will be sent to connected speakers.
We do not present any ads (ad-free)
We do not send any annoying push notifications
We do not send you any emails with our app news.
We do not collect any user specific information
We do not use any SDKs to collect user/device actions
No dirty-stuff in the background!
Latest reviews of mic live stream app for iPhone and iPad
This app does not perform as a microphone. Their web page reads: Press the button, Speak, Press the button. What they dont tell you is your voice isnt sent to the AirPlay device until you press the button the 2nd time. So this is not a microphone because microphones work in realtime, not delayed time. Completely useless as a microphone, so I just wasted my money.
Has trouble starting, and when it does work there is a bad delay in voice output. Even worse, when you pause talking for a moment (between sentences for example), it dies and/or disconnects, and you have to play with the mic button to try and get it connected again. In other words, the idea is great, the app isnt and doesnt work (tested using iPhone 5 and newest Apple TV - Phone works great with Apple TV in every other way and use without problems).
Waste of money!!!
Do not spend the money. I wonder why apple people accept this kind of app.
At first we were not sure. But once making the payment and downloading it for a trial, wow, it works very good. Thank you.
